With her outfits, Melania has proven 'she is a queen at fashion trolling'

On the eve of her husband's inauguration, for example, she was clearly speaking of success. Appearing at an extravagant dinner with campaign donors at Union Station in Washington DC, Melania stood out in a shimmering gold Reem Acra column gown, which commentators said was a nod to Trump's extravagant lifestyle and penchant for luxury.
But according to onlookers and pundits, the golden dress that caught the eye of many at Union Station is not the first outfit with which she has chosen to make a statement.
With her victory-night outfit, The Federalist said Melania had proved "she is a queen at fashion trolling".

The Ralph Lauren outfit was a deliberate dig at Hillary Clinton, it said, who has been closely associated with the trouser suit throughout her political career and opted for suffragette-white during the dying days of her ill-fated bid to become the first female president of the United States.
According to the publication, Melania "turned this faux-feminist narrative on its head by reminding us all that women can wear white, look good, and vote for whoever the hell they want", the Federalist claimed.
