Show of the week: Cosmos: A Space-Time Odyssey
Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson takes viewers on a 13-episode tour of the solar system.
What do we know about the solar system? Except for the trained astronomers among us, the answer is a lot less since Carl Sagan left the stage. In 1980, Sagan’s Cosmos was a cultural event, a series that inspired millions of TV viewers with its dazzling depictions of distant galaxies and poetic contemplations of time travel. Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson has arrived to carry on Sagan’s work, boarding a sister ship to Sagan’s “Spaceship of the Imagination” to take viewers on a 13-episode journey through space and time. Buckle up. This should be fun. Sunday, March 9, at 9 p.m., Fox
