Change has come again to television’s leading late-night franchise, as Jimmy Fallon becomes the sixth full-time host in The Tonight Show’s storied 59-year run. Fallon, who proved endearing and inventive as the ringleader of Late Night, will tape in New York, in Jack Paar’s old studio, and should immediately bring a dose of youthful energy to a program that grew stale under Jay Leno’s long watch. Questlove and the Roots will again man Fallon’s bandstand, and opening-night guests are to include Will Smith and U2. Monday, Feb. 17, at 11:30 p.m., NBC
