The daily gossip: Kanye West wants fighter jets at his wedding, and more
5 top pieces of celebrity gossip — from the all-female Expendables knock-off to the latest Fifty Shades of Grey delay

1. Kanye West wants fighter jets at his wedding
Kim Kardashian has already had two dream weddings, so it's hard to imagine how she'll make her upcoming nuptials to Kanye West even dreamier. But if you ask West, there's only one thing he needs on his special day. "I only got two words in my mind so far, as far as ideas for the wedding go," said West in an interview with Power 106. "That's 'fighter jets.'" Most people probably would have gone with "I do," but hey, we all have priorities. [MTV News]

2. An all-female version of The Expendables is on its way
The Expendables franchise proved that putting a bunch of quasi-famous action stars in a movie together will draw crowds, no matter how bland the movie in question actually turns out to be. So it's no great surprise that Millennium Films has decided to ape the already successful Expendables formula with an all-female Expendables riff called — what else? — The ExpendaBelles. Deadline reports that the studio is currently negotiating with Meryl Streep, Cameron Diaz, and Milla Jovovich to star, which sounds less like a cast list and more like a game of celebrity Mad Libs. It's been a rough month for Fifty Shades of Grey fans, who have been forced to watch from afar as the upcoming film adaptation has stumbled through a deeply troubled pre-production. Unfortunately, Monday brought even more bad news: The film's production start, which was originally planned for early November, has been bumped to December 2 — a delay that might make Fifty Shades of Grey miss its scheduled Aug. 1, 2014, release date. The news is sure to disappointment some, but the filmmakers shouldn't be too worried; if the source material is any indication, being deprived of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie is just going to make fans even hotter. 4. Netflix intends to make more House of Cards
The busy film careers of Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright have led many to speculate that Netflix's flagship series House of Cards would run for just two seasons. But in a recent keynote at the Film Independent Forum, Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos expressed optimism for the long-term future of the series. "It was not our intent that it just run for two seasons," said Sarandos. In a subsequent interview with Deadline, he added that "talks are in progress right now" — because if House of Cards has taught us anything, it's that negotiating with Kevin Spacey always goes smoothly. 5. Now Netflix users can waste their time on Dexter
If Netflix can't convince the House of Cards team to produce another season after all, never fear: Later this week, you'll be able to watch all eight seasons of a different, totally disappointing show. On Monday, Netflix and CBS announced a partnership that will bring the entirety of Showtime's Dexter to Netflix's streaming service on Oct. 31. In a statement, Sarandos called Dexter "one of the great serialized dramas of the past decade," and predicted that seers "will enjoy discovering or reliving the twisted world of Dexter Morgan anywhere and anytime they want" — and then, if history is any indication, going onto internet forums and complaining about it.
