“No American wine-growing region excites me about Riesling as much as the Finger Lakes of New York,” said Eric Asimov in The New York Times. 2012 Dr. Konstantin Frank Dry Riesling ($16). Our panel’s best-value pick was also the overall favorite. It’s energetic yet balanced, with “lingering” mineral flavors.
2012 Anthony Road Dry Riesling ($19). This focused, “tangy” wine offers “juicy, complex aromas of flowers and yellow fruits.”

2010 Bloomer Creek Tanzen Dame Auten Vineyard First Harvest ($33). Though our panel loved this Riesling’s tropical flavors and tannic texture, it’s “not for everyone.”
