1. Kanye West thinks Kanye West wrote the best rap verse of all time

In an announcement that will surprise exactly no one, Kanye West was really impressed with Kanye West's recent single "New Slaves." So impressed, in fact, that he took to Twitter to declare it "the best rap verse of all time." "OF ALL TIME IN THE HISTORY OF RAP MUSIC, PERIOD," added West — a sentiment that Taylor Swift graciously let him finish. [Twitter]

Just a few hours before Kate Middleton gave birth to her son on Monday, a different kind of royal birth was happening in the United States. According to People, Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott gave birth to a baby girl on Monday, just in time to be completely overshadowed by the birth of the third in line to the British crown. The magazine added that Scott and her husband have already named the baby Eisele Kaye, so for the sake of the empire, let's hope Middleton and Prince William didn't have Eisele Kaye on their baby names list. In a move that gives new meaning to the phrase "hiding in plain sight," Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston went undercover at Comic-Con as Walter White, the character he plays on Breaking Bad. Cranston managed to remain incognito by covering his face with a disturbingly lifelike rubber mask resembling his own face. The success of the clever ruse may inspire other celebrities to disguise themselves as themselves in the future — so just to be safe, be careful when approaching anyone in a Chewbacca "costume." Even the Tunisian Desert wants to forget about Star Wars: Episode I. According to The Independent, the standing set for Anakin Skywalker's hometown of Mos Espa, which featured heavily in the first of the Star Wars prequels, is on the verge of being destroyed by a "giant, Pacman-shaped sand dune," because one nerdy reference just wasn't enough for this story. "Reality can sometimes be more amazing than science fiction," said an astrophysicist explaining the phenomenon, which, in the case of Star Wars: Episode I, is definitely true. [The Independent]

It's safe to say there are more than a few gentlemen who would happily sign up to make out with Scarlett Johansson, but there's one man who admitted he didn't enjoy the experience: Chris Evans, who costars with Johansson in the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier. "I've known her for over a decade now, so she's like my sister," explained Evans. He added that the "little kiss scene" will "all make sense in the movie" — except, we hope, the whole "kissing your sister" thing. [Associated Press]
