Now might be the perfect moment to re-evaluate director Michael Cimino’s notorious epic about class conflict in 1890s Wyoming, said The New York Times. Best known for bankrupting a movie studio, Cimino’s revisionist Western from 1980 now looks like “a misunderstood giant.”
