“The aggressive weirdness” of this 1970 film seems “terribly dated,” but it’s still an interesting artifact, said the A.V. Club. Co-written by Terry Southern and based on a John Barth novel, it stars Stacy Keach as a young man who goes catatonic in the face of society’s madness.
