Fashion designer John Galliano was fired this week by the French fashion house Christian Dior for launching an anti-Semitic tirade at a Paris gallery owner last week. A video posted on the Internet shows Galliano ranting at patrons outside a Paris café. “I love Hitler,” Galliano says. “People like you would be dead today. Your mothers, your fathers would be f---ing gassed and dead.” Police are investigating. In France, making anti-Semitic comments is punishable by up to six months in prison.
