Billy Ray Cyrus issued a public apology this week to the fans of daughter Miley Cyrus, who was shown smoking the psychedelic herb salvia from a bong in a video posted on the Internet, said HuffingtonPost.com. “Sorry guys. I had no idea. Just saw this stuff for the first time myself,” Billy Ray Cyrus, 49, said. “I’m so sad. There is much beyond my control right now.” The video, which shows the 18-year-old pop singer giggling uncontrollably and talking about her “bad trip,” has sparked debate about outlawing salvia, which is currently legal in 35 states.
