Former Congressman Gary Condit testified this week that he wasn’t involved in the murder of Chandra Levy, and refused to say whether he and the former congressional intern had a romantic relationship. At the trial of Ingmar Guandique, a convicted sex offender who’s charged with Levy’s 2001 murder, Condit said he would not describe the nature of his relationship with Levy, who was 24. “I think we’re all entitled to some level of privacy,” said Condit. “I didn’t commit any crime.’’
