Michael Douglas’ “potentially violent character” in Falling Down wouldn’t be out of place today, said the Beaver County, Pa., Times. The 1993 film, about an unemployed defense worker who is slowly becoming unhinged, captures what it feels like to be “a man without a country, a family, a voice, or a future.”
