GOOD DAY FOR: Calorie counters, after a federal judge cleared the way for New York City to require fast-food chains to list calorie information alongside prices for their food items. BAD DAY FOR: Heavenly peace, after the European Union issued new rules paving the way for cellphone service on European flights. Airlines now have common technical standards for in-flight service; the rules for chatting are up to each carrier. “We don’t believe it’s for the commission to regulate human behavior,” said Martin Selmay, a European Commission spokesman.
