No welcome here for homosexuals.

Homosexuals are trying to recruit Ugandans to their wicked lifestyle, said the Kampala New Vision in an editorial. The Spanish Church of St. Sebastian, which openly welcomes gay parishioners, is reportedly seeking to set up a branch here. Yet homosexuality is a crime. Ugandan law is unequivocal on this point. “What would drive anyone to start a criminal organization?” There are so few homosexuals in Uganda to begin with that the only goal of such a “homosexual church” must be recruitment. The gay movement encourages people to doubt their own sexuality and experiment with illegal activities. The movement is part of the Western humanist philosophy that embraces moral relativism. “The idea is to have no fixed law but to do what gives one most enjoyment.” Uganda has struggled long and hard to achieve a rule of law. It is simply not right that foreigners should come in and promote a lifestyle that we have outlawed for a good reason. “Christians should wake up and lobby their members of Parliament and other political representatives. Praying in the closet may not be enough.”
