La Grande-Motte, France
A French Mediterranean resort town has begun fining tourists who walk around the streets in their bathing suits, the daily Le Parisien reported. Anyone caught shirtless away from the beaches must pay a fine of 40 euros ($39). “It’s a way of saying, ‘Let’s not slack off, let’s be respectful, let’s not let ourselves go,’” Mayor Henri Dunoyer told a French radio station.
