Nokia, the world’s largest mobile-phone maker, is in late-stage talks to acquire U.S. electronic mapping firm Navteq, The Wall Street Journal reported. Navteq is worth about $7.65 billion. “Such a deal, if true, would strengthen Nokia’s position in the GPS/maps market,” said Garner analyst Carolina Milanesi. (MarketWatch)
