From the "Year of Adele" to the "Year of the shark," here's how the media tried to sum up 2015


What will we remember 2015 for? It was certainly a year of ups and downs, with some of the biggest headlines including the Charlie Hebdo and Nov. 13 Paris attacks, the Charleston church shooting, and the European refugee crisis. But 2015 was also the year we were dazzled by pizza rat, divided by a blue (or gold?) dress, and delighted by runaway llamas and blimps. With the New Year just a few days behind us, only time will tell what exactly 2015 meant for the world.
