Five of the best beauty gadgets
Use these devices for at-home beauty treatments
1. Dermalux Flex
The Dermalux Flex is a large (and pricey) device that can either be used as a sort of tunnel to slide over your face and neck, or be draped over your body. The at-home version of Dermalux’s salon LED treatment, it uses different combinations of lights for healing, collagen production or antibacterial treatments.
2. Foreo Luna Play Smart 2
Foreo’s vibrating facial cleansing devices have been a mainstay of the beauty gadget round-ups for a few years. Just apply your cleanser and it will “shake the dirt” from your pores. Available in four colours.

3. Lyma Laser
If you really want to splash out, the Lyma Laser apparently holds the strongest at-home laser on the market. It promises to improve the appearance of scars and pigmentation. It also claims to penetrate layers of skin and fat to hit ageing cells and make them produce collagen again.
4. NuFace Mini
For a quick and very portable treatment option, the NuFace Mini uses microcurrents to tone and lift the face (as with the Caci non-surgical facelifts that are available in salons). It cuts out after five minutes, and comes with an aqua gel, a silk crème and a “clean sweep” brush.
5. ZIIP
Created by a facialist who treats the likes of Jennifer Aniston, the ZIIP uses electrical currents of differing levels to target different things. Nanocurrents are meant to improve collagen and elastin production, while others manipulate muscles or target bacteria during breakouts.
