1. Cardi B pleads guilty in strip club brawl
This time, "WAP" stands for "won't approach prison." Cardi B has avoided jail time by taking a last-minute plea deal following a 2018 strip club brawl. The rapper was arrested that year for allegedly orchestrating an attack on two bartenders at a strip club in Queens, apparently because she believed one of them slept with her husband. The case was headed to trial, with jury selection scheduled for Friday. But she has now pleaded guilty to the misdemeanors of third-degree assault and reckless endangerment. The deal lets her avoid jail time, though she received 15 days of community service, according to TMZ. "Part of growing up and maturing is being accountable for your actions," she said, admitting she's "made some bad decisions in my past that I am not afraid to face and own up to." But enough about her collaboration with Maroon 5.
2. Nick Cannon welcomes latest child with a 6th woman
It's getting to the point that we might need a dedicated "Nick Cannon just had another baby" newsletter. The Masked Singer host has welcomed yet another child, just three weeks after announcing he was expecting a completely different kid. This is his ninth child, a girl named Onyx Ice Cole Cannon, but his first with former Price is Right model LaNisha Cole. "Today I am in awe of the Devine Feminine," Cannon declared on Instagram. In July, he welcomed his eighth child with a different woman, Bre Tiesi. As we speak, he's also expecting two more kids with two other women, Brittany Bell and Abby De La Rosa. So Cole will be the sixth woman Cannon has had a baby with after Tiesi, Bell, De La Rosa, Alyssa Scott, and Mariah Carey, and he'll soon be up to 11 children. Weird Al will soon be able to fill a whole "We Didn't Start the Fire" song parody with just the names of these kids.

3. Kim Kardashian is looking to date a 'scientist, neuroscientist, biochemist, doctor, attorney'
Kim Kardashian is searching for the anti-Pete Davidson. On The Late Late Show, James Corden quizzed the newly single Kardashian on who she might date next, and she had a few ideas. "I think it's gonna be, like, scientist, neuroscientist, biochemist, doctor, attorney — that's maybe what I envision in the future," she said. So, as far in the opposition direction as Davidson as possible, in other words? We assume she's looking for a man who holds only one of those jobs, though if there are any neuroscientist-biochemist-doctor-attorney renaissance men out there, feel free to hit her up. As for how she might find such a man, Kardashian suggested she may just show up at "a hospital" to "meet a doctor," explaining, "I feel like I have to go to different places. Clearly, it's not working, whatever I'm doing." Meanwhile, Kanye West was reportedly spotted punching "how to get a medical degree without any effort" into Google.
4. Blake Lively expecting 4th child with Ryan Reynolds
Ryan and Blake's family life is about to get even more lively. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are expecting another child together. The Gossip Girl star shared the news by showing off her baby bump at Thursday's Forbes Power Women's Summit in New York, where she wore a gold dress. This will be the fourth child for Reynolds and Lively, who have been married since 2012 and are already parents to daughters James, Inez, and Betty — whose names were famously used for characters on Taylor Swift's album Folklore, so keep an eye out for their next kid's name to be revealed on Midnights. Betty is the youngest, as Lively and Reynolds welcomed her in 2019, while Inez is 5 and James is 7. You know what that means: They're just about old enough for Reynolds to proudly introduce them to Green Lantern!

5. Leonardo DiCaprio warned Timothée Chalamet to avoid superhero movies
Leonardo DiCaprio's career is driven by the Edna Mode rule: No capes! In a new British Vogue cover story, Timothée Chalamet revealed that when he met DiCaprio in 2018, the Titanic star gave him some advice, sharing his own rule for his career: "No hard drugs and no superhero movies." Chalamet already told Time last year about getting this advice from "one of my heroes," but he didn't name the actor at the time because "he'd kick my a--." Well, so much for that! Chalamet has apparently followed DiCaprio's advice by not starring in superhero films, though really, is leading a Willy Wonka origin story not significantly worse than showing up in the MCU? DiCaprio didn't offer dating advice, but if he did, we presume he would have told then 23-year-old Chalamet not to date anyone his own age — less competition for him!
