1. Taylor Swift and Matty Healy are dating, 'The Sun' claims
Is Taylor Swift ready to begin again with a new London boy? After the end of her relationship with Joe Alwyn, The Sun claims Swift is dating British singer Matty Healy, The 1975's frontman. "She and Matty are madly in love," a source told the outlet. "It's super-early days, but it feels right. They first dated, very briefly, almost ten years ago but timings just didn't work out." Swift also appeared at one of The 1975's shows in January. Soon after the news broke, though, Swifties resurfaced a 2016 interview where Healy suggested dating her would be "emasculating." At the time, these comments led him to tweet that he "may admit to being an idiot on occasion, but I am not a misogynist." Swift and Healy are "ready to go public with their romance" this weekend when she performs in Nashville, The Sun claims, so we may soon find out whether to file this one under "Love Story" or "Hoax."
2. Billie Lourd didn't invite Carrie Fisher's siblings to Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony
In honor of Star Wars Day, here's some family drama worthy of the Skywalker Saga. Carrie Fisher received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, but ahead of the ceremony, Billie Lourd confirmed she didn't invite her mother's siblings to the event. "They know why," Lourd said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter and other outlets, accusing Fisher's brother and sister of capitalizing on her mom's death by doing "multiple interviews and selling individual books for a lot of money" without consulting her. Lourd continued that her mom had a "very complicated relationship with her family," and their "actions were very hurtful to me at the most difficult time in my life," adding, "To be clear — there is no feud. We have no relationship." Fisher's brother Todd responded in a statement, maintaining he "never capitalized" on his sister's death and "in no way meant to hurt Billie."

3. Ed Sheeran wins 'Thinking Out Loud' copyright infringement case
Ed Sheeran's early retirement is officially off. The singer has once again been cleared of plagiarism, as a jury on Thursday found he didn't copy the Marvin Gaye song "Let's Get It On" for his own song, "Thinking Out Loud." He was being sued by the heirs of the song's co-writer, who claimed the two tracks were strikingly similar. The plaintiffs' lawyer said their "smoking gun" was a video of Sheeran performing a mash-up of the two songs live, but he said he would be "quite an idiot" to do that if he actually was guilty of plagiarism. Sheeran, who apparently missed his grandmother's funeral because of the trial, also vowed he would be "done" with music if he lost. "I'm obviously very happy with the outcome of the case," he told reporters after his victory," and it looks like I'm not having to retire from my day job after all."
4. Drew Barrymore quits as host of MTV Movie & TV Awards in solidarity with writers
Striking writers have a friend in Drew Barrymore. The actress has dropped out as host of Sunday's MTV Movie & TV Awards "in solidarity" with the Hollywood writers who are currently on strike. "Everything we celebrate and honor about movies and television is born out of their creation," she said in a statement to Variety. "And until a solution is reached, I am choosing to wait but I'll be watching from home and hope you will join me." Barrymore added that she plans to host the 2024 ceremony, noting she "can't wait to be a part of this next year, when I can truly celebrate everything that MTV has created." The show is still on for Sunday, but without a host. Meanwhile, Deadline revealed that Kieran Culkin and Jennifer Coolidge were scheduled to host Saturday Night Live episodes that are no longer happening due to the strike, so our alternate universe counterparts can enjoy that while we're here binge-watching old episodes of Matlock.

5. Jenna Ortega ribbed for 'Wednesday' writing comments amid strike
Jenna Ortega's Armchair Expert interview has come back to haunt her. The Wednesday star made headlines in March after admitting she was "almost unprofessional" on the set of the Netflix hit in that she started "changing lines" herself, and she argued that some of the writing on the show "made no sense." Two months later, the remarks have become a punchline during the writers' strike, with Variety tweeting out a sign that said, "Without writers, Jenna Ortega will have nothing to punch up!" Nick Adams, a writer on BoJack Horseman, also joked on Twitter, "Jenna Ortega better be back from NY for her afternoon shift on the picket line," while The Bear writer Karen Joseph Adcock tweeted, "Rewriting is writing! See you at the line, Jenna." It's surely all just in good fun, but in case there are truly any hard feelings, Ortega can make things right by sending in Thing as her representative at the picket line.
