1. Taylor Swift and Matty Healy reportedly break up
The Taylor Swift fandom's short national nightmare is over. Swift's brief, controversial relationship with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy has ended, according to TMZ. "She had fun with him, but it was always casual," a source told People. "They are no longer romantically involved." Swift was reported to be dating Healy in early May not long after the end of her six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn. She never officially confirmed this, though she and Healy were spotted together in public multiple times, most recently on May 25. Swifties, to put it lightly, were not happy about this given Healy's controversial behavior, like when he made an apparent Nazi salute on stage or when he laughed along with offensive comments about Ice Spice on a podcast. Using the hashtag #SpeakUpNow, some "concerned" Swifties demanded that she hold Healy "accountable" and engage in "genuine self-reflection." But now that Swift is no longer dating the singer, we'll see how long it takes for fans to forget that he existed.
2. Tyler James Williams criticizes speculation about his sexuality
Tyler James Williams is urging fans to stop speculating about his — or anyone's — sexuality. "I'm not gay," the "Abbott Elementary" star, who plays Gregory, wrote in an Instagram story. "But I think the culture of trying to 'find' some kind of hidden trait or behavior that a closeted person 'let slip' is very dangerous," he added. "Overanalyzing someone's behavior in an attempt to 'catch' them directly contributes to the anxiety a lot of queer and queer questioning people feel when they fear living in their truth." Williams went on to say that while fans speculating about whether he's gay "may seem like harmless fun," it could send "a dangerous message to those struggling with real issues." The actor closed the statement with a Pride Month message to the LGBTQ+ community: "I pray that you feel seen in ways that make you feel safe in the celebration that is this month."

3. Jennifer Coolidge wants her 'White Lotus' character to 'come back as a seagull'
Remember Tanya? She's back — in bird form. In a Variety "Actors on Actors" conversation with Jeremy Allen White, Jennifer Coolidge pitched bringing her deceased "White Lotus" character back as a bird. "If Tanya could come back in any form, maybe she could come back as a seagull and poke [her husband] Greg's eyes out," Coolidge said. At the very least, she said she hopes Tanya's husband gets "some comeuppance" for her death, like "bad treatment and possibly a death himself." But Mike White, the show's creator, has teased that the third season will be focused on religion and spirituality, so bird reincarnation might actually fit right in. The pitch also comes after Coolidge told "Access Hollywood" in January she has "always wanted to play a dolphin," so someone get this woman on the phone with the producers of the "Madagascar" movies, pronto.
4. Mark Hamill doesn't see a 'reason' to return as Luke Skywalker
Luke Skywalker has vanished, this time for good. Mark Hamill told CBS "Sunday Morning" he doesn't expect to ever return as Luke in the "Star Wars" franchise. "I had my time, and that's good, but that's enough," he said. While Hamill would "never say never," he sees no "reason" to come back. The actor most recently played Luke in 2019's "The Rise of Skywalker," though he was involved in bringing a young, de-aged version of the character to life in "The Mandalorian." Disney is now working on a new "Star Wars" film set after "The Rise of Skywalker" in which Rey (Daisy Ridley) rebuilds the Jedi Order, so fans thought Hamill might be back as a Force ghost. But Hamill told CBS that Lucasfilm has "so many stories to tell," so "they don't need Luke anymore." He's riding off into the binary sunset.

5. Brian Cox feels 'disinclined' to watch the 'Succession' finale
Don't spoil the "Succession" finale for the last person on Earth who hasn't seen it: "Succession" star Brian Cox. The actor who plays Logan Roy told BBC he still hasn't watched the HBO series' finale after being written out of the show early in its final season. Cox's character — spoiler alert — died three episodes into the fourth season, prompting a battle to succeed him that extended into the last episode. But Cox told BBC that "because of what happened to Logan, I've been disinclined to watch the rest" of the season, though he spoke about what "apparently" happens in the last episode. He added that he generally doesn't "cling onto" projects, so "when I'm over, it's over, and I go on." The actor previously argued that Logan was written out "too early," which made him feel a "little bit rejected," to which some might simply point out that the name of the show is "Succession."
