1. RICHARD III'S SKELETON 'FOUND'

Archaeologists searching for Richard III's remains under a car park in Leicester said today they believe they have unearthed the king's skeleton. Richard Taylor, who led the dig, said the team had found a skeleton with spinal abnormalities who had suffered a trauma to the skull with a bladed weapon. Richard III, who is often depicted as a hunchback, died at the Battle of Bosworth.
