1. Gove to lead 'out' campaign as PM hails EU deal
David Cameron says he has struck a deal with EU leaders to give the UK "special status". The prime minister says that he will campaign with his "heart and soul" to stay in the union. Justice Secretary Michael Gove has decided to campaign for an EU exit when the UK votes in its referendum, according to reports this morning.
2. Top paediatrician questions safety of 111 helpline
A leading paediatrician has questioned whether the NHS 111 helpline is safe and effective for young children. Professor Neena Modi claims the system is unfair on call handlers, who are not medically trained. She added that even clinicians would find it hard to assess small children by phone. "I feel really sorry for the call handlers,” she said.
3. Donald Trump calls for boycott of Apple
Donald Trump has called for a boycott against Apple until the technology giant helps the FBI break into the iPhone of one of the San Bernardino shooters. Speaking to supporters during a town hall-style event just a day before the South Carolina GOP primary, the White House hopeful said: "Boycott Apple until such time as they give that information.”

4. Leading Tory donor avoids tax on employees' wages
A leading Tory donor who advises David Cameron and George Osborne on business issues avoids paying tax on workers’ wages at his own company, says The Times. Charlie Mullins, the colourful owner of Pimlico Plumbers, reportedly dodges millions of pounds of national insurance contributions for workers who are denied holiday or sickness pay.
5. Umberto Eco dies at the age of 84
Author Umberto Eco, best known for his novel The Name of the Rose, has died aged 84. His family says the the Italian writer and philosopher passed away late on Friday at his home. The Name of the Rose was made into a film in 1989 starring Scottish actor Sean Connery. "I am a philosopher," Eco was once quoted as saying. "I write novels only on the weekends."
6. Calais camp migrants face eviction from 'Jungle'
Hundreds of migrants living in the ‘Jungle’ part of the Calais camp have been ordered to leave or face eviction. They have until Tuesday evening to leave the southern area of the sprawling camp. The area has become something of a cultural hub for many of the migrants, with its shops, a school and religious buildings.
7. UK to be hotter than Madrid this weekend
Parts of Britain will be warmer than Madrid this weekend as a heatwave brings temperatures twice the average for the time of year. Temperatures could reach as high as 14C (57F). The Spanish capital is forecast to reach no higher than 12C over the weekend. However, there is a dividing line between colder weather in the north and milder conditions in the south.
8. Why Sony Pictures is bringing faxing back
Is the fax set for a comeback? Michael Lynton, the boss of Sony Pictures, has admitted to writing sensitive messages by hand and sending them by fax since the cyber attack, which caused massive embarrassment and millions of dollars of damage. Lynton, whose entire email account was leaked online, says he has written sensitive messages by hand and sent them by fax since the hack.
9. Kylie Minogue announces engagement in style
Kylie Minogue has announced her engagement to Joshua Sasse in the Daily Telegraph. The pop legend is to marry the British actor, who is nearly two decades her junior, after a whirlwind six-month romance. Minogue, 47, and Joshua Sasse, 28, revealed their engagement in a notice in the forthcoming marriages section of the newspaper.
10. Gunners boss says FA Cup replays should stay
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says FA Cup replays should be kept. As the future of replays is questioned as a measure to trim the fixture list, the Frenchman says there is no need to scrap the them because every Premier League team has enough players to cope with extra matches. Arsenal host Hull City in the cup today. The club has not lost in the competition since 16 February 2013.
