1. Tony Blair says Corbyn would be 'dangerous' in power

Tony Blair says it would be a "very dangerous experiment" for the UK to give Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn power. Speaking to the BBC, the former Labour PM said the centre ground needed to work out how to recover and get "its mojo back". Blair also claimed he has "real humility" about the decisions he took leading to the Iraq war.

2. Postpone or move Olympics, say 125 health experts

The Olympic in Rio de Janeiro should be postponed or moved because of the zika virus, 125 leading health experts have argued. It would be “unethical” to continue with the Games as planned, say academics from institutions including Oxford University and Harvard and Yale in the US in an open letter to the World Health Organisation.

3. Fights outside rally as Trump ducks out of Bernie debate

Stones and water bottles were thrown as supporters and opponents of Donald Trump scrapped in the city of San Diego in California. Trump was in the city near the Mexican border to hold a rally ahead of the California primary. He has vowed to build a border wall to keep out illegal immigrants. Meanwhile, the Republican has pulled back from his plan to debate Bernie Sanders.

4. Bake Off's Nadia speaks out over Islamophobic abuse

Nadiya Hussain, winner of The Great British Bake Off, says she has suffered Islamophobic abuse. She told The Times: “If I’m on the train, people will sit away from me, or God forbid I’ve got a rucksack or a suitcase... I’ve been shoved waiting for a bus, had things thrown at me.” However, she added: “It’s nice living in England and we are, I like to think, a very integrated society.”

5. World war two plane crashes into New York river

A world war two aircraft has crashed in the Hudson River between New York and New Jersey. The vintage plane - a single-seat P-47 Thunderbolt - went down two miles (3.2km) south of George Washington Bridge. The cause of the crash has not been officially confirmed, but engine failure is suspected. Divers later recovered what is believed to be the body of the pilot.

6. Amber Heard alleges Jonny Depp assaulted her

A US court has ordered Johnny Depp to stay away from his estranged wife, Amber Heard, after she alleged he assaulted her. The actress said that Depp threw her mobile phone at her during a fight. She produced a photograph of herself with a bruised cheek and eye at the Los Angeles Superior Court. She has filed for divorce after 15 months of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.

7. Man leaps from window fearing Costa terror attack

A customer at Costa broke his arm as he leapt out of the coffee shop's first floor window after mistaking the sound of schoolchildren throwing trays on the floor for a terror attack. People sitting on the first floor of the branch “freaked out” when they heard shouting and several “gunshot-like” bangs. Another customer said the first thing she thought about was the terrorist attacks in Paris.

8. Chris Evans says his Top Gear will be "less blokey"

Chris Evans says the hotly anticipated new series of Top Gear will be “less blokey” than its predecessors. Speaking ahead of Sunday’s opener, he said his approach will be different to that of Jeremy Clarkson, explaining: “All I can do is a show that reflects my personality, and I’m less blokey and blustery than he is.” He added that lots of speculation about the show is “insane”, “facile” and “fictitious”.

9. Has Rashford secured his Euro 2016 place?

Marcus Rashford may have booked his place in this summer’s England squad after he made history by becoming the youngest player to score on his England debut as they beat Australia in a friendly. The United striker - at 18 years and 208 days - beat the previous record set by Tommy Lawton in 1938 when he volleyed in after only 138 seconds.

10. Zlatan agent: his next move will come as a surprise

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent has poured cold water over Manchester United’s hopes of signing the superstar — claiming the Swede’s destination will be a surprise. He said: “We have not decided anything yet. I think it will be a surprise in the end. Everyone is harping on about only United, United, United.” Clubs across Europe and in China have expressed interest in the veteran striker.
