Great ape named Karen given Covid vaccine

Great apes at the San Diego Zoo have become the first non-humans to receive a Covid-19 vaccine outside clinical trials. An orang-utan named Karen was given two doses of the vaccine. Karen had previously made medical history when she became the first ape in the world to receive open-heart surgery in 1994. Three other orang-utans and five bonobos at the zoo were also given the vaccines.
Road accident victim comes back to life
A man who had been declared dead by doctors recovered consciousness at his post-mortem. Shankar Shanmukh Gombi, 27, suffered serious head injuries in a motorcycle crash in Mahalingapur, India. In hospital his life support system was eventually switched off and he was sent for his post-mortem. However, a medic then noticed movements and on closer examination found that he was alive. His family said doctors had exercised “bad judgement”.

Aldi want Easter egg testers
Would you like some free Easter eggs and a side dish of social media fame? Easter egg tasting is now an official role at Aldi. To apply, you should film create a short video clip explaining why you should be an Aldi Easter egg taster and send them to the supermarket chain. The successful applicants will receive eggs to review. “If this sounds like eggs-actly what you’ve been looking for, be quick,” said an Aldi spokeswoman.
