A woman from Suffolk gave birth to a baby on the side of the road as Storm Eunice lashed the UK, reported the BBC. Lauryn Vartan was due to be induced on Friday, but her contractions started late on Thursday evening. She headed to Ipswich Hospital with her husband, Josh, but almost immediately needed to pull over. Baby Florence was delivered by her dad on the hard shoulder 45 minutes later. “[It is] such a lovely feeling – like something you see in a movie, but never think you’ll have to do anything like it,” Josh told the BBC.
Man grew tooth in his nose
A 38-year old man who had been struggling to breathe through his nose for years was surprised to learn he had a tooth growing inside his right nostril, said the Daily Star. Medics performed a rhinoscopy, in which a tube is inserted inside a patient’s nose or throat, and found a white object lodged in his nostril which was later identified as an ectopic tooth.

Radiohead’s Greenwood makes keyboard confession
Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood has admitted that he kept his keyboard secretly switched off during his early rehearsals with the band. “When I got the chance to play with them, the first thing I did was make sure my keyboard was turned off,” he told NPR’s Fresh Air podcast. “I must have done months of rehearsals with them with this keyboard, and they didn't know that I’d already turned it off.” Greenwood said lead singer Thom Yorke told him: “I can’t quite hear what you're doing, but I think you're adding a really interesting texture.”
