British sailor ‘survived Titanic and Lusitania disasters’

A family says their relative survived the Titanic and the Lusitania disasters. British sailor George Beauchamp escaped the sinking Titanic in 1912, and his family believe he was also onboard the Lusitania when it was torpedoed three years later, which would make only person to survive the worst maritime disasters of the 20th century.
After surviving the sinking of the Lusitania, he is said to have told relatives: “I have had enough of large ships - I'm going to work on smaller boats.”

People flocked to pray under a tree in Australia which began “weeping” on Good Friday. Over the course of the Easter weekend, locals and tourists travelled to a suburb of Perth to see the tree. Some drank and bathed in the “holy” water. However, the Water Corporation for Western Australia later established the real cause of the leak - a cracked water pipe.
Owl found napping in Virgin jet engine
Engineers conducting pre-flight checks were shocked when they found an owl having a kip inside the engine of a Virgin Australia plane. “This owl didn't give a hoot where it napped!” wrote Virgin Australia on Twitter. Virgin boss Richard Branson responded: “Just when I thought I'd seen it owl.”
