A personal trainer has provoked anger by refusing to work with “fat people” and claiming they are “lazy” and “lack self-worth”. Samantha Yardly told ITV “we need to make it more inconvenient to be obese” and described obesity as a “lifestyle choice.” She has been criticised on Twitter as “fat phobic” and “discriminatory”.
Slovak beats punching record
A Slovakian martial artist broke a Guinness World Record when he threw 322 punches in one minute. Pavel Trusov, 25, said he prepared and trained for six months before officially attempting the record. Guinness rules required each punch to be a “full extension punch,” meaning his arm had to fully extend with every blow.

Brit breaks back while sleeping in Ibiza
A tourist in Ibiza broke her back when she fell more than 60ft from a balcony while having a nightmare. Coral Skipp, from Powys in Wales, fell in her sleep from the third floor of the building. Skipp, who fractured her spine, broke her hips and needed stitches, is now receiving treatment at the Can Misses Hospital in Ibiza.
