Teen's efforts to woe girl end in hospital
A Russian teenager has survived falling 23 storeys from a balcony while trying to impress a girl. The 16-year-old reportedly had tried to swing from the guardrail of the balcony but lost his grip and dropped 230ft. He landed on a parked Renault Logan, which cushioned some of the blow. He was rushed to hospital suffering from a bruised abdomen and lung, a tear in his liver and a broken shoulder. The boy is said to be in a serious but stable condition.
