A family has been removed from an American Airlines flight from Miami to Detroit because of their severe body odour. The airline confirmed the husband and wife and their 19-month-old child were asked to leave the plane after several passengers and cabin crew complained about the smell.

Bomb squad finds a bird in a box

Officials in Nebraska have revealed that a “suspicious package” discovered near the state’s Capitol building was actually a pigeon in a box. A witness called emergency services after seeing a man place the box down and run away. Two bomb robots were deployed, and the pigeon was found unharmed in the package.

Man arrested after action figure tantrum

A 34-year-old man has been arrested after going on a rampage in his home because he thought his wife had damaged his action figures. The man used an axe to destroy a television, a laptop computer and other furniture, before using the axe to damage the family car. He called police on himself and admitted to being drunk at the time.
