Pope Francis stayed true to his Argentinean roots during his 78th birthday party on Wednesday, celebrating with tango music and dancing in Rome's streets.
During Wednesday's event, thousands of people showed up to express their well-wishes for Francis, singing "Happy Birthday" in a variety of languages, including Spanish and Italian. A group of Italian citizens also performed a "mass tango" for Pope Francis. Check out a video of the joyful celebration below, courtesy of Time:
Francis has previously expressed his love of the tango, saying it's "something that comes from within" him and his heritage.
