It's official: Outfielder Giancarlo Stanton on Wednesday signed a $325 million, 13-year contract to remain with the Miami Marlins. The deal is the largest and longest in pro sports history, eclipsing the 10-year, $292 million deal Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera signed last year.
The 25-year-old Stanton can opt out of the contract after six years, giving him a shot at another mammoth payday.
