Royals beat Giants in Game 2, evening out World Series
The Kansas City Royals struck back at the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday night, taking Game 2 of the World Series with a score of 7-2. The teams were tied at two runs each until the 6th inning, when the Royals pushed out Giants starter Jake Peavy; a handful of relief pitchers later, Royals catcher Salvador Perez hit a two-run double off of Hunter Strickland, then Omar Infante swatted in a two-run homer to seal the Giants' loss.
The World Series moves to San Francisco for Game 3 on Friday.
