Madden NFL 15 is cutting Ray Rice

Yesterday, the Baltimore Ravens cut ties with running back Ray Rice after TMZ published a video that showed him assaulting then-fiancée (and now wife) Janay Rice.

Today, in a case of art imitating life, Rice's digital counterpart has been banned from the NFL.

CBS News reports that a downloadable update to the popular football video game Madden NFL 15 will remove Ray Rice from the Baltimore Ravens lineup, and that — given Rice's indefinite suspension from the league — he won't appear on the free agency list. The update is expected to arrive by Friday.
