Patriots coach Bill Belichick on deflated footballs: 'I don't have an explanation'

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick says he had "no knowledge whatsoever" that footballs used in Sunday's AFC Championship game were underinflated.
"I don't have an explanation for what happened," he said in a press conference Thursday morning, adding that he was "shocked" to hear about the story after the game.
The NFL is investigating the team for allegedly underinflating footballs in violation of strict PSI requirements. Dubbed "Deflategate," the alleged ball tampering could result in a $25,000 fine and cost the Patriots future draft picks.
