John Kerry pushes Russia to accept 'peaceful solution' in Ukraine

Secretary of State John Kerry on Thursday arrived in Kiev to begin negotiations aimed at resolving the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
"Our choice is a peaceful solution, but Russia needs to make its choices," Kerry said, adding that the greatest threat facing Ukraine is "Russia's continued aggression in the east."
Kerry's visit came on the same day German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande traveled to Ukraine for diplomatic talks. The two are to head to Russia on Friday to meet with President Vladimir Putin and pitch a plan to resolve the conflict.
