Dutch police reveal why winter is the worst for illegal marijuana growers

Folks who live in snowy locales — and who have a budding illicit cannabis plantation — take note: Winter is not your friend.

Dutch police released a photo on Thursday showing an apartment building with one area of the roof strangely lacking in frosty cover. The likely reason? Growing marijuana requires temperatures way hotter than those you would find in your average, non-pot-growing residence, The Washington Post explains.
