Parents: If you're on your 800th reading Hop on Pop or Green Eggs and Ham, today brings some welcome news: Later this year, Random House will be publishing a brand new Dr. Seuss book based on a recently discovered manuscript by the author.

The new story, titled What Pet Should I Get?, will be published on July 28. The book is based on sketches discovered by Dr. Seuss' widow, Audrey Geisel, and his secretary, Claudia Prescott, when they were cleaning out his office space.

There was enough material in Dr. Seuss' office for the publication of two more books, which Random House plans to publish in the future.
