Bank manager pleads guilty to stealing $1.4 million from ex-cop, other customer

On Monday, Maria Rodriguez pleaded guilty to stealing $1.4 million from two clients at the suburban New York City branch of M&T Bank that she managed, starting in 2008, according to District Attorney Janet DiFiore. The defrauded clients include a 92-year-old former police officer in the town, Ossining Village. Rodriguez faces up to 25 years in prison. She will be sentenced in May.
