Marvel certainly hopes you've forgotten all about Ben Affleck's Daredevil — but if the 2003 Hollywood blockbuster turned you against the popular superhero, maybe this new trailer for the upcoming Daredevil TV series will change your mind.
The new TV show, starring Charlie Cox as Daredevil, is set to premiere an entire season on Netflix in April, as part of a grand plan to expand Marvel's superhero empire even further:
In case you'd forgotten, the trailer ends by reminding viewers that the new Daredevil is a part of Marvel's Cinematic Universe. "Maybe if he had an iron suit or a magic hammer, that would explain why you keep getting your asses handed to you," says one of Daredevil's enemies to his henchmen, referring to Iron Man and Thor. We'll see if Daredevil can measure up to his big-screen counterparts when the first season premieres on Netflix on April 10.
