Having performed on stages around the world, Sarah Brightman has decided it’s time to reach new heights and sing in space.

Brightman has been training near Moscow. Once she's done, she will board a Russian craft on Sept. 1 with two others and go to the International Space Station, the BBC reports. She will spend 10 days there, and will perform a song by her ex-husband, Andrew Lloyd Webber. "To sing in microgravity is a very different thing to singing down here," she said. "We use the Earth to ground ourselves when we sing, and the air around us. This is going to be very different. I'm trying to find a piece that is beautiful and simple in its message, as well as not complicated to sing."

Brightman said she can't say exactly what it will cost her to go to space, but it's reported to be around $51 million.
