St. Patrick's Day and South by Southwest is a dangerous combination, but if you believe the setup, it was Julia Louis-Dreyfus' idea to bring the whiskey onstage during the live taping of Tuesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live in Austin. "I hope it's Irish whiskey," Kimmel said. "I'm sure it is," Louis-Drefus replied. To be fair, she only proposed one toast, and started out sipping the shot glass. Kimmel downed the glass with each toast.

How do we know that Kimmel isn't fake-slurring at the end of the toasting? He brings up an audience member to do shots with them. If the whiskey is real, though, the toasts get increasingly silly. The worst? "May all your Liams be Neeson, and all your Seans be Connery." I'm not sure if the Irish or Scottish will be more insulted by that. Anyway, sláinte you two. And may the road rise up to meet you Wednesday morning. —Peter Weber
