British Prime Minister David Cameron is having a bad week. Not only has Labour candidate Ed Miliband, no one's idea of a political rock star, pulled slightly ahead in the polls, but Cameron has truly stepped in it a few times, from forgetting which soccer team he supports to getting the election date wrong. His latest gaffe might be the most legendary, though:
Speaking to staff at Asda’s headquarters in Leeds, the Prime Minister said: "Whatever your views and whichever party you support, please make sure you do vote on May 7.""This is a real career-defining... country-defining election that we face now in less than a week's time." [The Independent]
Yikes.
