Engineer of derailed Amtrak train identified

The engineer of the Amtrak train that derailed Tuesday night in Philadelphia has been identified as Brandon Bostian, 32, of Queens, New York.

Bostian spoke with investigators Tuesday night, and after being treated at a hospital, was released and taken to a Philadelphia police station. Bostian declined to provide a formal statement to authorities, and police have not released any details on what information he may have shared. Preliminary data indicates that the train was traveling at 106 mph when it derailed.
