Fraternity expels 38 Penn State members over Facebook page featuring nude women

The Kappa Delta Rho national office expelled 38 Pennsylvania State University members Monday for their ties to the chapter's private Facebook page featuring nude women, The Associated Press reports.
The expulsions do not affect the students' status at Penn State, but rather only to their status in the fraternity. The Kappa Delta Rho executive director said members who took responsibility for their actions, including the chapter president, were instead moved to alumni status.
The Penn State fraternity chapter was suspended from campus for three years in March as officials investigated the Facebook page, which reportedly included nude and partially nude women. Some women appeared to pose for the shots, while others looked incapacitated. The school's investigation concluded some of the fraternity members engaged in hazing and sexual harassment, contributing to a "persistent climate of humiliation."
