J.Crew, not particularly known for its affordability, announced Friday it'll open a cheaper line of clothing stores. Called J.Crew Mercantile, the new stores will feature "value-driven merchandise with classic J.Crew style," according to the news release.

It's an expansion on their collection that until now has only been available in J.Crew Factory outlets. The first J.Crew Mercantile, which will sell clothes for men, women, and children, is set to open in Dallas this month. It remains to be seen if the cheaper clothing, like the store's typical offerings, will be suitable attire for all of your yacht party needs.
