Thousands of protesters marched in Times Square Wednesday, calling on Congress to reject the Iran nuclear deal.

One organizer said 10,000 people came out, a number that could not be confirmed. Many participants were linked to evangelical Christian and Jewish groups, Al Jazeera reports, and speakers included former Republican governor of New York George Pataki. "We're here as Americans to speak with one voice to say stop Iran now, reject this deal," he said. "This is a God-awful deal, this must be rejected. Congress must do its job and stand up for the American people, stand up for our safety, and say no to this Iranian deal."
