Pope Francis would like Oprah's help conquering Hollywood

Pope Francis is ready for his close-up, and he'd like a little assistance from some Hollywood heavyweights.

The pontiff wants to improve the Catholic Church's portrayal in Western entertainment, The Hollywood Reporter says, and sources claim that his representatives have approached Oprah Winfrey, Matt Damon, David Geffen, and agent Ari Emanuel for a summit at the Vatican this fall. Considering Pope Francis reportedly hasn't watched television since July 1990 (after deciding "it's not for me," he promised the Virgin Mary he'd stop), it will be interesting to see how the meeting goes down.
