People won't really vote for Donald Trump, Seth Meyers argues: 'That's just the liquor talking'

For people worried about Donald Trump's remarkable staying power atop the Republican presidential polls, Seth Meyers had a message on Tuesday's Late Night: Relax. When pollsters call and ask which candidate you're going to vote for, he said, "people are just angry in general, they're just angry at politics as usual, so they say 'I'm going to vote for Donald Trump!' then they hang up. And then that just counts in the polls."

Meyers likened Trump Fever to people at a bar drunkenly making empty threats to tell off their bosses on Monday morning. In fact, Trump isn't going to win anything, Meyers predicted, so "you don't have to listen to these polls, because that's just the liquor talking." Watch his argument below. Peter Weber
