It was a Daily Show reunion on Wednesday's Late Show, and former correspondents Stephen Colbert and John Oliver — each with his own show now — talked politics. Colbert asked Oliver if he, like every other political comedian, cared about Republican frontrunner Donald Trump. "I couldn't give less of a sh-t," Oliver said. "It's physically impossible." The one thing he might care about regarding Trump: His hair. ("It is good.")
Oliver said that a) he can't vote ("taxation without representation!"), b) it's still 2015 and the election isn't until late 2016, and c) if the candidates have to talk now, there are plenty of more important things to discuss than themselves. Then Colbert got a little mushy. "Do you miss Jon Stewart as much as I do?" he asked. "Yeah, I miss him hugely — I love that man," Oliver replied. Colbert gave a shout-out to Stewart's Daily Show replacement, Trevor Noah: "I thought Trevor crushed it." Oliver agreed, but noted that Noah is "taking on the impossible.
